General English

We offer a range of full-time and part-time General English courses to suit different levels and durations. All our courses include a language placement assessment, an individual assessment, and a certificate of achievement. Each class has a maximum of 18 students.

To make sure that you get the most out of the lessons, our General English course covers all the important aspects of the language:

Business English

The Business English course aims at improving confidence and enhancing communication skills in a business environment. This programme will allow learners to expand your career opportunities by learning general business vocabulary and specialised workplace jargon.

This course is designed for those who are required to use English in their job or as an intern or apprentice in an English-speaking country. Each classroom has a maximum of 18 students.

The course content is tailored to each class and popular topics include:

  • Office terms & expressions
  • Business vocabulary
  • Writing business communication such as letters, emails, and reports
  • Writing executive summaries
  • Managing phone calls
  • Making PowerPoint presentations
  • Handling business negotiations
  • Recruitment practices and procedures
  • Presenting and describing data/trends
  • Participating in and hosting meetings

Teaching methods

We evaluate the students’ level of English to place them in the appropriate group for optimal learning.
Our teachers plan the course content to provide study support and stimulating tasks, based on students’ needs and interests.
The combination of tests and classroom evaluation provides regular insights into the students’ progress and what areas require more attention.


Upon completion of the courses, each learner will receive a certificate of proof of their English level.

English Level Overview

In a few weeks:

  • Have the ability to shop or travel with basic English
  • Know the fundamentals of English pronunciation
  • Know how to conjugate basic verbs.

By the end of this level:

  • Make simple sentences and reply to simple questions
  • Talk about likes/dislikes, family and routines
  • Discuss and describe their work day.
  • Order a meal in a restaurant
  • Discuss future plans and arrangements
  • Describe their skills and abilities
  • Understanding how to form sentences and write at a comprehensive level.

By the end of this level:

  • Speak with confidence: Introduce themselves and others
  • Start and hold a conversation in English about topics of interest
  • Read, Write and understand simple written texts
  • Understand a wider range of grammar tenses and vocabulary.

By the end of this level:

  • Take part in routine and spontaneous conversations
  • Write & understand more complex written text
  • Improve their listening comprehension with the ability to understand most of the general meaning of lectures, meetings, TV programmes, educational videos.
  • extract basic information from a written document
  • Expand their range of more difficult grammar and extend their vocabulary.

By the end of this level:

  • Take part in extended conversations, discussions and debates.
  • Write and understand most text, including composing a simple essay
  • Comprehends the majority of TV programmes, presentations or lectures, but not technical or theoretical information
  • Expand on grammar and vocabulary range

By the end of this level:

  • Take part in lengthy conversations & discussions
  • Write and understand most text including formal, academic and professional documents
  • Easily comprehend TV, plays, films, lectures and presentations.

To improve:

  • Increase your understanding of the nuances of the language
  • Engage in independent reading to develop your vocabulary further  Intermediate.
