Magical Paris | A City of Wonders
From the lights of the Eiffel Tower to the magic of Disneyland Paris — an immersive 10-day language summer programme for teenagers aged 13 to 18
Programme Overview
Magical Paris – A City of Wonders is designed for teenagers aged 13 to 18 who want to develop their English or French language skills while immersing themselves in one of the most beautiful and culturally rich cities in the world.
On completion of this programme, your teenager will have made significant progress in their chosen language — English or French — through an intensive 27-hours course that culminates in a final sustainability project. They will gain the confidence to communicate fluently in real-world settings: ordering in Parisian cafés, navigating the Metro, discussing French art and history, and collaborating with international peers from across the globe.
Throughout the programme, participants will discover the extraordinary cultural, historical and artistic heritage of Paris — from the ancient tunnels of the Catacombes to the grandeur of Notre Dame, from the iconic silhouette of the Eiffel Tower to the timeless galleries of the Louvre. They will walk Montmartre’s cobbled streets, stroll along the banks of the Seine and explore the hidden charm of Canal Saint-Martin.

Social & Cultural Activities
Each day combines structured morning language lessons with a rich afternoon and weekend activity schedule, giving participants a truly immersive Parisian experience from first light to last.
Participants walk the most famous avenue in the world, from the Place de la Concorde and the Tuileries Garden all the way to the Arc de Triomphe at the top of the Champs-Élysées. A guided tour brings the history, architecture and political significance of these iconic Parisian landmarks to life.
A visit to the world's largest art museum and one of the most visited cultural institutions on the planet. Participants explore the Louvre's extraordinary collections — from the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo to ancient Egyptian artefacts — guided by a specialist who brings the stories behind the works vividly to life.
A visit to the recently restored Cathedral of Notre Dame de Paris — one of the greatest examples of Gothic architecture in the world and a building that stands at the very heart of French national identity. Participants learn about the cathedral's history, its devastating 2019 fire and its remarkable restoration.
A guided visit to the most recognised structure in the world. Participants ascend the Eiffel Tower with expert commentary covering the extraordinary engineering story behind its construction in 1889, its cultural significance, and the breathtaking panoramic views over Paris from its upper levels.
An afternoon exploring the hilltop village of Montmartre — Paris's most bohemian and artistic neighbourhood. From the white domes of the Sacré-Cœur Basilica to the narrow streets where Picasso, Van Gogh and Toulouse-Lautrec once lived and worked, Montmartre is unlike anywhere else in the city.
A visit to one of Paris's most impressive scientific institutions, whose collections span natural history, evolution, geology and ecology. This visit is closely connected to the programme's sustainability theme, giving participants the opportunity to explore humanity's relationship with the natural world in one of the finest natural history collections in Europe.
A magical full-day excursion to Disneyland Paris — Europe's most visited theme park resort, located just 35 kilometres east of the city. Participants spend the day together experiencing world-class rides, live shows and the unique atmosphere of the Disney parks, bringing the programme to a celebratory and unforgettable close.
What's included in the programme
Participants attend intensive language lessons each morning, with the choice of English or French depending on their learning goals. Classes cover all four key skills — speaking, listening, reading and writing — and are delivered in small international groups to maximise speaking time and peer interaction. Every lesson uses Paris and French culture as its living backdrop.
The language course culminates in a collaborative sustainability project, in which participants research, discuss and present on a real-world environmental or social challenge — entirely in their chosen language. This project-based approach accelerates language acquisition by anchoring learning in topics that teenagers genuinely care about, while building research, teamwork and public-speaking skills.
Accommodation at the Campus Saint Nicolas and all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) are fully included in the programme fee. No additional charges apply.
