King Stage bursaries

There are five options for bursaries, check below to confirm your eligibility. We offer up to 10 bursaries distributed on a first come, first served basis.

Low-income bursary

You are a talented and ambitious individual and you have the determination and drive to progress up the social ladder? With our Low-Income bursary you have the opportunity to get financial support to reach your full potential.

Am I eligible?

  • A receipt of an offer to study at King Stage at a Master’s level.
  • Evidence of a total household income below £25,000 per annum.

If so, then you may be eligible for a Low-Income Bursary Award £2,000*

High-skilled bursary

You have an outstanding academic record or are a recognised professional in your field?
At King Stage we believe hard-work and talent should be rewarded.

Am I eligible?

  • You must be a registered Master’s student at King Stage.
  • You must be able to provide supporting documents as evidence of an excellent academic track record, receiving the grade of Distinction or equivalent at degree level or, evidence of professional recognition in a given industry, such as an employee recommendation.

If so, then you may be eligible for a High-skilled bursary award of £1,000

Women in entrepreneurship bursary

MSc in Innovation and Entrepreneurship

You are a female aspiring entrepreneur aiming to make you mark on the world, this may be the bursary for you.

Am I eligible?

  • You must have a business idea to develop after your master’s.
  • This bursary is exclusively available to students that have enrolled with us via the MSc in Innovation and Entrepreneurship programme.

If so, then you may be eligible for a Women Of Tomorrow bursary award of £1,000

Women in Tech bursary

MSc Data science programme

As a woman, you have your place in the field of technology. We provide this bursary to encourage you to make the step towards your desired career.

How do I apply?

  • You must be passionate about technology
  • You have enrolled to the MSc Data science programme

If so, then you may be eligible for a Women Of Tomorrow bursary award of £1,000

International Talent Bursary

MSc in International business and sustainability programme

Backgrounds help shape our identity. King Stage is proud to boast an expansive range of graduates from a wide range of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.

With the International Talent Bursary we are looking to invest in bright minds developing their skills in a new culture.

How do I apply?

  • This bursary is exclusively available to students that have enrolled with us via the Msc in International Business and Sustainability programme.

Applicants must be able to provide supporting documents as evidence of an excellent academic track record, receiving the grade of Distinction or equivalent at degree level.

If so, then you may be eligible for an International Talent Bursary of £1,000

How Can I Apply for a Bursary?

There are 5 simple steps that prospective candidates must complete in order to receive one of our bursaries.

  1. You went through our student recruitment process and have secured your place
  2. You have checked that you are entitled to get one of our bursary schemes
  3. Fill in the following online form to submit your application and upload all requested documents/proofs. We will not be able to review your information if it is incomplete.
  4. Our committee will review your application and make a decision
  5. The decision will be shared with you up to 6 weeks following your application

Scholarships and Additional Financial Support:

If you missed out this time, or perhaps you were just a little late to the party with your submission, there are still a range of options available to you.

Scholarships:

There are many different scholarships available depending on your circumstances. If you feel you fit the right profile for a particular scholarship, then apply directly.

Here is a non-exhaustive list to get you started:

  • The Chevening scholarship
  • Commonwealth master’s scholarship
  • The Marshall scholarship (US citizens)
  • The Aid for International mobility (AIM)

Loan:

Student loans are another option available to prospective students looking for financial support. This option allows you to study and start repaying the loan once you have started working.

The application and decision-making process for external financial support is a separate organisation from King Stage, unfortunately, we have no influence on the outcome of your applications.
