English For Employability

Available to students aged 19 and over, our “English for Employability” course has been designed for graduates, business professionals, mature students and ambitious learners who would prefer to learn English in smaller groups, creating a more focused learning environment. Those who are studying business, preparing for an MBA or are getting ready for a new job in a business sector may find this English for career programme more beneficial than a standard General English course.

This course is helpful for those who want to quickly improve their English in a concentrated environment. You will be part of a small class of just 5-10 students which  allow students to be more focused, therefore giving you a greater level of personal attention in class. The course can be made to suit your needs, meaning that you should be able to progress quickly and effectively.

Overview

The “English For Employability” course aims at improving your confidence and enhancing your communication skills in a business environment. This programme will allow you to make the most of job opportunities in your industry. You will have the opportunity to learn workplace language. This course will simulate real-life working situations, allowing you to practice email writing, attending meetings and providing excellent customer service. This course is designed for those who are required to use English in their job or for those taking internships or apprenticeships in an English speaking country.

  • Vocabulary related to sales and business development
  • Vocabulary related to services, products, finance and marketing
  • Business correspondence  –  written business communication such as letters, emails and reports
  • Business project
  • Participating in meetings
  • Making presentations by using PowerPoint
